Scott Cameron, the company founder, has been building in the Bay Area since 1980. He supported himself while in college at UC Berkeley doing construction. After graduation he decided that a life in the lab studying shrimp was not for him and he began buying and renovating houses. At the same time, he began taking on client work doing room additions, kitchens and baths.
After the Oakland Hills fire in 1991 he put together a group of investors and began buying lots and building spec and client houses. He has built over 60 houses and has completed numerous renovations, additions, and commercial projects.
